In a 1994 Chevy Caprice, the oil dipstick is located on the driver's side of the engine. It is typically positioned toward the back of the engine compartment, near the rear of the intake manifold. The dipstick handle is usually yellow or orange for easy identification. To check the oil level, simply pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then remove it again to read the level.
