If your speedometer has also been "erratic" during high humidity and rainy days, the problem is most likely a cracked case on the ECM. If you silicone the case before the damage to electronics is done, you may salvage the module. Once the module deteriorates, starting becomes harder and harder during wet weather and eventually will not start at all. This problem has been seen on many vehicles andthe most likely reason for your symptom.
