cv joints
Bad Struts
Sounds like your ball joints are shot. Could also be your axles. I had the same noise, clunking when i turned and it turned out to be my axles. Check the boots to see if they are ripped.
I would suspect worn steering components, or front wheel drive components. Have this inspected as it could be a dangerous situation.
When you turn the wheel, or while you drive?
A clunking noise, when you put your car into gear, is most likely caused by a bad u-joint. A problem in the transmission can also cause the noise.
Mine had a clicking noise and it turned out to be the front passanger side axle assembly.
Worn out front sway bar links or bushings can do that.
Possibly the sway bar bushings?
Sounds like its from one side? Ur shocks
if it is making a loud knocking noise it is about to go out If when you put it in to gear, it jumps in to it and the car starts to move instantly then the converter may be shot.
I had a similar problem with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it turned out to be my front sway bar bushings and front sway bar link. The sound was a large clunk sound when I went over bumps. After I got it fixed there were no problems.
Possible failed U joint or cv joint at the left front wheel
