The XLT has some better features that the XL doesn't have, but may be an option on XL. XL models usually don't have chrome grills and bumpers, while XLT models have standard chrome grills, chrome bumpers, and alloy wheels. The XL is cheaper than the XLT in starting prices, but an XL Crew Cab can outprice an XLT regular cab. XL models also have standard vinyl seating, while the XLTs have standard cloth seating. The engine choices are the same, but an XL Crew Cab can only have a 4.6L 3-V V8 while the XLT Crew Cab can have a 4.6L or a 5.4L V8. Overall, the XLT has a lot better features, and it's the one I'd rather have out of the two models. But either way, it's a Ford truck
XLT is a higher trim level than the Xl , the XLT has standard features that may be available as an option on the XL ( just as the Lariat is a higher trim level than the XLT )
It depends if its a XL or xlt. XL's have two while xlt's have thee
The XL and XLT are trim levels. The XLT is a higher trim level....usually including PW, PL, cruise control...etc...etc.
Yes, Ford made a 402040 bench seat for the 1995 Ford F150 XL model with the in line 6 engine.
It's a Ford trim level , as far as I know XLT doesn't have any particular meaning . There was the XL , XLT , Eddie Bauer , Limited trim levels
It is just a designation Ford used to specify one model from another. It really does not have a meaning. Like the Fairlane versus Galaxy, or the XL versus XLT.
Well XLT stands for "Extra Luxurious trim". It may be something like that.
Nothing as far as I know , it is just one of Ford's trim levels like XLT etcetera
I don't believe it stands for anything . It is just one of the trim levels on a Ford Explorer . Such as XL , which became XLS , XLT , Eddie Bauer , Limited
A Ranger XLT has chrome bumpers and grille and alloy wheels, while the XL has black plastic bumpers and black plastic grille and plain wheels. The XL model Rangers also have no available 4-wheel drive system, while the XLT models do. The XL Ranger comes standard with a 2.3L I-4 engine and 5-speed manual transmission. The XLT Ranger comes standard with a 4.0L SOHC V6 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission.
My 1995 Ford Explorer XLT doesn't have a cabin air filter so I would be surprised if your Ranger did
4.9L Inline-6, 5.0 v8, 5.8L V8
