discharge
• Remove the air bag fuse from the fuse panel located at the lower left
driver side of the instrument panel
• From under the driver side of the instrument panel, disconnect the
yellow air bag system contact coil electrical connector (Fig. 1) by
lifting up the connector locking lever
• Open the glove compartment
• Press in on the side of the glove compartment, then pull the glove

elements
• Replace the two used cabin air filters with two new cabin air
filters (Fig. 5) ensuring that the filters are placed with air flow
markings in the correct direction
• Reverse the above procedures to reassemble the vehicle components
Answer 2Open Glovebox / Squeeze-in the sides to lower it fullyLooking into the compartment, a little left of center - you will see a sort of vertical strip with two tabs sticking out wowards you. This is the "L" shaped cover. It is a narrow strip - not some big thing.
ON TOP there is a locking tab. Lift up and pull the cover towards you. Lift it up and out. The bottom is down inside a little slot.
You will find the TWO filters exposed. Ours were VERY dirty, including leaves and dead bugs! I am ordering filters - probably from eBay.
Replace the filters (this first time all I could do was to use a paper-clip and compressed air to clean them out as best I could for now). There are arrows stamped on the ends of the filters, indicating the direction of air flow. REPLACE BOTH FILTERS as running with one or none will let all of that crud dirty-up your A/C system and also get into the vehicle with you.
BE CAREFUL not to poke around in there with a screwdriver or anything as you are underneath the airbag and its connectors. The above answer says to disconnect the battery, fuses and the airbag connectors - probably the usual "covering their butts" stuff. My brother and I did this without all of that and never touched or got close to the airbag components. Use your own judgment on this. Disconnect if you are clumsy as the airbag can cause serious injury or death.
A second tip for Trackers: The dome lights might go crazy on you or stay on all the time. Here's the fix - Lower the front dome light assembly. ON TOP of it you will see these two copper tabs that stick straight up and TOUCH THE METAL ROOF of the car at times! Use needlenose pliers to bend these down or sidecutters to nip them right off down low (what I did). Lights work perfectly. No more blinking, flashing, intermittent function or just staying on all the time. NOTE: Our 2001 Trackers domelight remains on for about 30 seconds or so after closing the doors. They do cut right off when starting up, or delay as mentioned earlier - and then shut off if you are leaving the vehicle and the engine is off. I thught I still had a light problem until I realized that this was an automatic function.
Should be under the hood between the battery and air filter compartment
above the gas tank in the rear of the truck.....you have to get under the tracker to get to it. its easy to change :)

To change the cabin air filter on a 1997 Chevy Camaro, first, locate the filter housing, which is typically found behind the glove compartment. Remove the glove compartment by either detaching the stops or removing screws, then access the filter cover. Take out the old filter and replace it with the new one, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Finally, reassemble the glove compartment to complete the process.
How do you change the front rotors on a 2004 Chevy tracker
Being surprised my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara (same as Tracker) had a drain plug for the transmission. I just change the fluid, not the filter or gasket.
To change the cabin air filter in a 2006 Chevy Colorado, first, locate the filter housing, which is usually behind the glove compartment. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents, then gently squeeze the sides to release it from its hinges. Once the glove compartment is out of the way, you’ll see the cabin air filter cover; unclip or unscrew it, then remove the old filter. Insert the new filter in the same orientation as the old one, reattach the cover, and put the glove compartment back in place.

The cabin air filter on a 2009 Chevy Trailblazer is located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you need to open the glove compartment, then remove the stops or clips to allow the compartment to drop down fully. The filter is housed in a compartment that can be easily pulled out for replacement.
