I can say that not all 2002 Trailblazers. We have an LTZ that doesn't have them. If I remember right, they may have been a factory/dealer installed option as I think it refers to them in the manual.
To fix the door latch on a 2002 Jaguar X-Type that won’t open, start by removing the interior door panel to access the latch mechanism. Inspect the latch for any visible obstructions or broken components; lubricate the latch with a suitable lubricant if it's stuck. If the latch is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Reassemble the door panel once the repair is complete, ensuring all components are properly aligned.

No you have to get an EXT and they stopped making them in 2006
The latch system first appeared in the 2000 Accords here in the states. You can click on my used inventory to look through different older accords and check on it. Not sure if it was on all trim levels, but I think so.
It depends on what is wrong with the cable. When you pull the hood release within the car, is the latch not popping? If you can get the hood up at all, then you should look at the actual latch system where the cable runs, there is a metal clip that holds the cable to the latch. Have another person pull the interior latch release and watch the cable.
Yes it works great! Have taken two kids through all those years
Yes, the 2002 Malibu has an ABS system with sensors at all four wheels.
what is wrong with the door latch? will it not open/latch? what year is the vehicle? all of these are needed to answer your question.
The door latch may not go in all the way due to misalignment, dirt or debris blocking the mechanism, or a faulty latch mechanism.
I've done a little research on this. My Advice; READ YOUR CAR MANUAL!!! If it says you only have LATCH for the two outer seats, that's all you have. You can not use the inner most LATCH hooks for the middle. According to a posting I found here's why; "My SUV only has the LATCH system on the side seats and not the middle seat. I spoke to the car safety officier for the police department ... he told me not to use the LATCH in the middle position (by using the side seats LATCH system) since my SUV is not equipped with it is because the LATCH is connected to the car frame and if we were in an accident and the frame of the car bent it could tear his seat in pieces. I was not aware that the LATCH was connected to the frame" From: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1VTXRFKRIM6XK If you can get a secure fit using the seat beat in the middle, this is the safest place. If not, use the LATCH on the passenger side.
That is for Onstar. I tis actually the microphone for the system. You can get all the answers about Trailblazers and Envoys at www.trailvoy.com come join our ENTHUSIASTS forum!
