I'm not that familiar with the S-10, but, if the pump is in the tank, you've pretty much got to drop it. It REALLY is not that intimidating once you get into it. Take off the holding strap and a couple of guys can just let it down easy. When you put it back up, it's real easy to disconnect the fuel gauge sending unit. Just take it slow and easy and you should be done in a couple of hours. That a savings in labor of $120 - $150 over the local garage.
