yes should come with lift kit
Yes
Yes, a steering adapter is typically needed when performing a 2-inch body lift on a 2001 GMC Jimmy. This adapter compensates for the change in steering column angle caused by the lift, ensuring proper steering alignment and function. It's important to address this to maintain safe and effective vehicle handling. Always consult the lift kit instructions or a professional for specific recommendations.
4 inch body lift or 6 inch frame lift
About 4 inch suspension lift and to be safe, add another 2 inch body lift!
I have 33x12.5 on my truck and a three inch body lift
yes you can if you go on quadratec.com and look up a 3 inch body lift it tells you that you can do it. From my personal knowledge a body lift is obviously just the body and does not mess with suspension at all.
A body lift can interfere with the shifting of gears.A body lift can interfere with the shifting of gears.
A stiff steering feel after installing a body lift can occur due to the increased distance between the steering components and the steering box. This change can lead to misalignment or strain on the steering linkage, causing it to bind or create resistance. Additionally, if the lift affects the angle of the steering column or drag link, it can contribute to a stiffer steering sensation. It's advisable to check for proper alignment and ensure all components are properly adjusted and lubricated.
You should never install a body lift of more than 2". You should be able to fit that size tire without a lift, just be sure you have proper backspacing on your wheels. If you still want a body lift I suggest going with a one inch. even with a 3 inch body lift they will still rub
go to performanceaccessories.com they have good lift kits for great prices
Yes it will. I have a 1998 GMC Sierra 4wd with only a 3 inch body lift and are clearing 35 inch nitto tires and it has no suspension lift what so ever I have a 1999 2 door Tahoe with 3 inch body lift and keys cranked up and clearing 35/15.50/r15 tsl sx's with little cutting but rubbs when turning and flexing the front suspension.
