On a 2006 Ford F-150 FX4, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you need to open the glove compartment and detach it from the dashboard. Once removed, you can find the cabin filter housing, which can be opened to replace the filter.
Don't think it has one. Started in 96 or so. Generally, if your vehicle does not have a recirculation knob/switch/button, it doesn't have a cabin filter.
Open the hood and the filter should be at the air intake under a screen on the passenger side under the wiper blade area. The '97-'98 F-150's do NOT have a cabin filter. Very odd, but true.
It is called a Cabin Filter and not an A/C filter. It may not have one. This information is listed in your owners manual. Don't have one, then go to an Advance Auto Parts store and ask for a Purolator Cabin Filter for your 1999 Ford. If it has one then they will have it listed. The filter comes with complete instructions for installation.
it should hold 5 with the factory filter
