The bank 2 refers to the side of the engine opposite the number one cylinder, on your vehicle that is the drivers side. Sensor 1 will be the first oxygen sensor you come to in the exhaust pipe coming from the motor.
I have an 02 and it is located to the left of the brake. Take off the cover and it was the one below the top right fuse(it is a ten amp fuse in mine)
this is a interference engine ,is this a belt change at how many miles or did the belt snap, you didnt say this makes all the difference, since this a interference engine, and a broken belt could mean major engine damage,to valves and pistons,
All zetec engine are non interference most guides say its interference but the zx2 and focus forums say its not. to many greedy mechanics say the valves are bent but its b.s mine broke and nothing wrong
Not without serious mods. For example coumputer, motor mounts, and wiring harness.
The starter on a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant is located on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the bottom of the engine block. It is mounted to the transmission bell housing and can be accessed from underneath the vehicle. You may need to remove some components, such as the air intake or heat shield, to reach it more easily.
On a 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante, bank 2 sensor 1, which is the upstream oxygen sensor, is located on the exhaust manifold on the passenger side of the engine. It is positioned before the catalytic converter and is responsible for monitoring the air-fuel mixture for that bank of cylinders. Accessing it may require some maneuvering due to the engine layout, but it is typically reachable from the top of the engine.
