It might, but really depends on what problem you are experiencing and its cause. A flush usually costs about $100+/-, and, given the age of the vehicle, it probably needs one anyways. If nothing else, it will help to extend the life of the transmission.
Where I work it costs $99.00.
would an automatic transmission car jerk when shifting after having had a transmission flush
I wouldn't think you could flush a heater core. you can flush a radiator. Heater core you would have to replace if it is leaking or stopped up
To do a transmission flush, first read the manual to your car. You will find out when you will need to do a transmission flush and how to do a flush.
Transmission flush is really good for your car. A transmission flush is a mixture of oil and transmission fluid which allows your transmission to run really smoothly.
Most often hard shifting can be fixed partially by a transmission flush and change of automatic transmission filter. Also, i have had luck with using a large magnet on the bottom of the transmission pan before the flush because parts of the clutches that are loose will not be filtered by a clogged filter. Also, on my grand am, the transmission fluid was dangerously low when i went to change it when first buying the car- this could also be a possible problem.
Had the same problem. I changed the fluid & filter and it's been fine. Don't flush the trans just drain fluid.
Your transmission is slipping and should be checked asap. on some models they can flush the transmission and adjust the bands this will give you a little more life out of the transmission.
you need to change the transmission fluid, filter and gasket. this needs to be done at a transmission shop where they can flush out all the old fluid. Some transmissions use synthetic fluid and cannot be mixed with other fluids. marlin
I'd flush every 100,000 miles normal driving. every 50,000 miles for hard driving
Drain it into a toilet and flush it
You should not flush 1995 Honda Accord transmission fluid. Transmission fluid should be taken to the appropriate dumping site and disposed of there.
