If the filter is restricted, there won't be enough airflow to transmit any heat.
On a 2002 Lincoln LS, the AC filter, also known as the cabin air filter, is located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you need to remove the glove compartment by unfastening the screws and clips. Once the glove compartment is out of the way, you can slide out the filter from its housing for replacement.
According to a drawing in the 2002 Lincoln LS Owner Guide : The power steering fluid reservoir is on the drivers side of the engine , near the engine air filter housing * also , Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used as the power steering fluid
Fuel filter is located in left front (Drivers side) wheel well. You need to remove the wheel to replace. That's for the 3.9 V8 (I have a 2004 V8)...I'm not sure if its in the same location on the V6, but I assume it may be also.
I was looking at the 2002 Lincoln LS Owner Guide and it shows ( 5W-20 ) and also in the book it shows ( 5W-20 , Motorcraft Premium Synthetic Blend )
check the owners manual. most of them will tell you. also ask a mechanic to change your filter. watch him and remember
And you want to know where to buy one??? Autozone, less than $10 dollars. Jack up the car, take the front drivers tire off. Remove the inner wheel well cover, behind the tire, and whalla, the fuel filter is right there. Also make sure you keep the clips that come with the new filter. You'll need them.
5 quarts when you change the filter also.
there is an idle control on these cars, could also be a problem with your intake, and idle. that's what was wrong with my 2000 focus. i lowered the idle, and changed the air filter.
The 2002 Pontiac Bonneville equipped with 3800 Series II engine has an oil and filter capacity of 4.5-quarts. The AC Delco oil filter part number for this application is PF47. The larger and higher capacity PF52 filter will also work on this engine.
bad clock spring... most likely your cruise control doesn't work too... also often airbag light stays on too...
it could be the air control valve behind the air filter. It also can be a plugged fuel filter.
fuse 14 under the dash, unfortunaltely also kills radio
