If you are referring to your power door lock on the driver's door, I know that on my 1995 Explorer XLT, in the jack storage compartment there are relays for driver door unlock/all door unlock/all door lock/ and two more relays for interior lamps and trailer park lamps.
On my ( 1995 ) Ford Explorer XLT the power door lock relays ( 3 relays ) are in with the tire jack , behind the removable plastic panel on the drivers side of the cargo area . I assume your 2000 would be the same . There are ( 3 ) relays : - all door lock - all door unlock - drivers door unlock
Press the 3/4 button within 5 seconds of unlocking the drivers door with the keypad and all other doors and the liftgate will unlock ( at least that's the way it is on my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT )

The wiring or the locking mechanism may be damaged in your ford explorer. You need to take it to an auto shop to have diagnostic testing done.

You probablu have a swinging open in your electrical harness. Possibly where it goes from the body to the drivers door.
That would depend on what year of Ford Explorer . From the 1995 to 2001 Ford Explorer the fuse panel was IN the drivers end of the dash . The fuse panel cover was visible with the drivers door open .
