Why engine stalls while driving and sometimes at stops?

Common causes are usually fuel, air, or ignition issues. Weak fuel pump or clogged filter → engine starves Dirty throttle body or bad idle control → stalls at stops Faulty sensors (crankshaft, MAF) → engine cuts out randomly Ignition problems (coils/plugs) → misfires and stall If it happens while driving and idling, check fuel delivery and crankshaft sensor first.

What would cause egine to rev up or stall when ideling when egine is hot?

When an engine revs up or stalls while idling when hot, it could be due to several issues. A common cause is a vacuum leak, which can disrupt the air-fuel mixture. Additionally, a failing idle air control valve or throttle position sensor can lead to improper engine management. Lastly, overheating components like the fuel pump can also affect engine performance during idling.

Idling for Nissan pulsar?

Idling for a Nissan Pulsar, like any vehicle, refers to the engine running while the car is stationary, typically with the transmission in "Park" or "Neutral." While idling can be necessary for warming up the engine or operating accessories, excessive idling can waste fuel and may lead to engine wear over time. It's generally recommended to limit idling to conserve fuel and reduce emissions. If you find yourself idling for extended periods, consider turning off the engine and restarting when ready to drive.

Why does the oil light come on when your car stalls?

The light comes on when the car stalls because the engine is not running and the pump therefore is not pumping. The pressure will always be 0 when the engine stalls and the light is directly related to pressure. This is normal, you have no problem, other than the engine stalling.
