Under hood, passenger side, beside/next to radiator in the silver metal line that is going up and down. Remove that one nut on that fat looking strange looking fitting. There will be two of them but undo the one that is going up and down. Pull it apart, it will be down INSIDE the pipe. Reach it with needle nose pliers Pull it strait up & out. That plug and wire that will want to get in your way is the pressure sensor, try not to accidentally break it. It can be removed by unscrewing it.
On a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, the orifice tube is located in the AC system, specifically within the liquid line that connects the condenser to the evaporator. To access it, you typically need to trace the line from the condenser, which is located in front of the radiator, towards the firewall. The orifice tube is usually situated near the firewall, often inside the engine compartment. Make sure to consult a repair manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.
In a 1995 Ford Windstar, the orifice tube is located in the liquid line of the air conditioning system. Specifically, it is found between the condenser and the evaporator, typically near the firewall. To access it, you'll need to remove the A/C lines connected to the tube.
What orifice tube? An orifice tube is part of the AC system pull off the lines going into the accumulator. You'll see it. DoratheExplorer
On a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, the orifice tube is located in the high-pressure line of the air conditioning system. To access it, you'll typically need to locate the line that runs from the condenser to the evaporator. The orifice tube is usually situated near the evaporator, which is located inside the dashboard. Be sure to follow safety precautions when working on the A/C system.
In a 1995 Ford Windstar with a 3.8 engine, the orifice tube for the air conditioning system is located in the liquid line, which runs between the condenser and the evaporator. Specifically, it can typically be found near the firewall, on the passenger side of the vehicle. To access it, you may need to remove the plastic cover and possibly some other components for better visibility and ease of replacement.
The area of the orifice in the system is the measurement of the opening's surface.
There is no expansion valve. There is an orifice tue. It is located in the inlet tube of the evaporator core.
In a 2002 Monte Carlo, the orifice tube is located in the air conditioning system, specifically in the refrigerant line between the evaporator and the accumulator. To access it, you'll typically need to remove the accumulator and the associated components. It's important to ensure the system is properly evacuated of refrigerant before attempting to replace the orifice tube.
On a 1993 Caprice station wagon, the orifice tube is located in the liquid line of the air conditioning system. To find it, trace the aluminum line that runs from the condenser to the evaporator; the orifice tube is typically situated near the evaporator inlet. You may need to remove the line to access and replace the orifice tube. Be sure to recover any refrigerant before servicing the A/C system.
It does not have a pcv valve. The system uses a fixed orifice in the rear elbow on the valve cover. It does not have a pcv valve. The system uses a fixed orifice in the rear elbow on the valve cover.
The orifice tube on a 1996 Ram 1500 is typically located in the liquid line of the air conditioning system, just before the expansion valve. To replace it, first, discharge the AC system safely and remove the refrigerant. Then, locate the orifice tube in the liquid line, disconnect the line using appropriate tools, and slide out the old tube. Insert the new orifice tube, reattach the line, and recharge the AC system with refrigerant.
On a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, the orifice tube is located in the high-pressure line of the air conditioning system. To access it, you'll typically need to remove the refrigerant lines connected to the evaporator and condenser. The orifice tube is usually found near the evaporator inlet, which is located in the dashboard area. Be sure to discharge the A/C system properly before attempting any repairs.
