whether you have the 2.0 or 2.5, the location is almost the same. At the top of the radiator, find the upper rad hose. Follow it back to where it connects to the engine. The metal housing that the hose is clamped to is the thermostat housing. Remove the two bolts from the cover and the thermostat is hiding inside.
the thermostat is located under the thermostat housing on the front of the motor where the top rad hose connects to.
The thermostat is located on the right side of the engine looking in, in between the intake manifold and the air filter box, underneath the wiring. This is in a 1994 Ford Probe GT 6 cylinder
Inside the transmission.
in the tank
follow the coolant hose that goes under the distributor.
It is in the housing at the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sure the spring on the thermostat is toward the engine.
On a 1990 Ford Probe with a 3.0L V6 engine, the thermostat is located in the engine's coolant passage, which is typically found at the junction of the upper radiator hose and the engine block. To access it, you will need to remove the upper radiator hose and the thermostat housing. Once the housing is removed, the thermostat can be taken out for inspection or replacement.

Follow the bottom radiator hose and it will lead you under the distributor and you will just have to take the two 12mm bolts out and there it is.
