the brake light fuse is located on the firewall under the dash beside the park brake second or third up on the left hand side
Should be on same circuit as other brake lights
Your fuse could be blown, or the brake light switch is improperly adjusted.
Passenger side behind the glovebox
In a 2002 Ford Mustang, the brake light fuse is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. Specifically, it can be found in the fuse panel near the steering column. The correct fuse for the brake lights is usually labeled as "Stop" or "Brake" in the fuse diagram. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact location and specifications.
