If its like my 2003 Expy, the relay for the rear wiper motor also controls the rear hatch lock
You need the proper amp wiring lot if you are putting an amp and sub if not you will need the premium sound wiring kit it comes with two plugs. I have 2003 ford expedition Eddie Bauer and I have 2 12" subs and the stock 10" that comes with it. Sounds good but the hatch really rattles alot. Have any questions email me chadscamen@yahoo.com be glad to help.
I noticed mine in the rear side windows. Its just a little stirp inside of the windows and kind of hard to tell with dark tint. Not the rear hatch window but the very rear side windows. right down the center of the glass.
Open the rear door hatch. there are 2 or 3 Philip screws on top of the brake light housing. remove them , pull housing from the frame of the truck. change bad light bulb, reinstall everthing you just took out and your done.
The door switches are located inside the door locks. If your having any problems with them. for example your interior lights / running board lights exc, are staying on . spray some WD-40 on all the door jams including the rear door hatch and glass. this should take care of problem.
The light switch is located above the hatch door ceiling.
I have 1 key for my 98 expedition. Remote will unlock all doors & back door hatch. press once to unlock dr door an twice to open all doors an back hatch door
Drop your back seat and you should see two metal bars, put them together and add your lug wrench for a handle. Their is a hole at the back of your trunck when you lift the hatch, stick the bar in the hole and turn it to lower the tire.
There is a switch on the light it seft. Off/On/Auto.
how to open the rear window on a 1997 chevy blazer.
there may be something stuck in the hatch
I have a 95 explorer EB edition...in the back hatch storage area there is a compartment on the left hand side. open that compartment and there should be 5 digit code on a sticker place either on the panel you take off or on something inside that panel.. Good Luck.
You may have tried this but i have a 2000 expedition and when it sayd door ajar its usually the window part of the hatch that's open....other than that I dunno
