Have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 When you try to fill the gas tank the pump keeps clicking off as if it were full Checked the vent hose and there is no blockage Do you have any idea as to why?

I have the same year and problem. Chevy seems to have an issue with poor gas filler line routing. My company has a fleet of 5500's and they all have that issue, regardless of the body on the chassis or the way the filler neck attaches. back the pump out 1 inch, and it will remedy the issue without burping gas out all over.
