On my '95 Bonneville the trunk release button is on the driver's door below the door handle. Hope this helps.
The 2002 Pontiac Bonneville rear door panel is held in place by eight retaining clips and two screws. Remove the screws that can be found near the door handle. Pry outward on each retaining clip to remove the door panel.
How do you replace the panels on the outside of a 1995 pontiac Grand am?
that depends on if you have auto windows or not. if you do then there should be a couple of screws on the inside door handle. unscrew these and then all you should have to do is unclip the panal from the back.
To remove the driver's side door panel on a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Next, carefully pry off any plastic covers or trim pieces to access the screws, typically located near the door handle and along the edges. Remove these screws using a screwdriver, then use a flat tool to gently pry the panel away from the door frame, releasing any clips. Finally, disconnect any wiring harnesses or door handle cables before fully lifting the panel off.
From the inside of the door. Its a pain.
I have the same car and the trunk release button is on the driver side door. Its under the handle..its a round grey button.
I have replaced door handle on my 1993, you have to remove the interior door pannel. If it is broke off from door handle look at junk yards for a new handle, if you need the clips that hold it on check with a local gm dealer they sometimes have them or you can order them.
The door handle of a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix can be replace because broken units will can not be fixed. To replace a handle remove the unit from the door and unhinged the locking mechanism.
push in the door panel slightly and you'll see a metal pin, pop it out with a flat head screw driver and the handle slides from off.
You have to pry the clip out of the slot behind the handle
You should bte able to access from inside after removing door panel
