The fuse block is on the left front fender well in the engine compartment under the hood.
Check either in the dash block under BCM or under hood block under BCM

If you suspect the head and/or the block, have them "magnafuxed" by a machine shop. On the other hand, as you're pulling it apart, check the head gasket and if it's shot, there is usually only the one problem.

As almost all parts are interchangeable it is very hard to tell them apart. Check the casting numbers at the back of the block behind the driver side head, or measure the bore. Check your Ground (negative) cable to the block. Also check the grounding of the coil to the block.
