To adjust the air-fuel mixture on a Malaguti 49cc scooter, locate the carburetor and find the mixture screw, usually marked with a colored dot. Start by turning it clockwise to lean the mixture or counterclockwise to enrich it; typically, a half-turn adjustment is advisable. After adjusting, test the scooter's performance and make further fine-tuning as needed. Always ensure the scooter is warm and running smoothly to achieve the best results.
