You have to be going at least 20 mph backwards... then stop fast. I went to a huge empty parking lot late one night and did this after trying to back up down street to do it. Didn't work backing down street but did once i got up to 20 mph in the parking lot. A mechanic told me that using your e-brake all the time also helps, not sure if it is true or not as I use mine everyday.
