Just went through this on my '03 S10 Xtreme. First question - 2wd or 4wd? I'm guessing it's a 4.3L V6. 1) Jack up one side of the vehicle and remove that side wheel. 2) Just above the upper control arm/ball joint assembly there is a rubber skirt. Pull it towards you and lift up. 3) Voila! Spark plugs will be staring you in the face. Pull the wire off the plug, use a 5/8" plug socket, 12" extension and 3/8" ratchet and you're off to the races. It's much easier to come at them this way than top or bottom. There's way too much stuff up top, and bottom - well, it's almost impossible. The only plug you'll have an issue with is the #3 cylinder (middle on the driver's side). This one you'll have to disconnect the steering column for. I haven't done that yet on mine, just left that one alone for now until I get ambitious. Have fun! Mike
