Well if it's a 1992-1998 Skylark, it's a royal pain to get to. Check those fuses first just in case that's the problem. You have to remove the plastic parts under the dash board. The flasher is near the steering wheel underneath there. Chilton's manuals (try Amazon) has the instructions. Also, check your tail lights' contacts. Get all that tan-colored gunk out of there and you'll notice a difference.
