Im trying to figure out how to replace my heater modual in my 2006 gmc, I have the part just need a diagram of where exactly it is located in my truck.
The daytime running lights module on a 2000 Grand Marquis is located in the passenger side engine bay. It lays between the battery and the heater blower.
Your blower motor is going out. Be prepared to replace it soon or it will just quit working all together.
2004 Pontiacs have a water problem. Water gets into the blower motors and into the blower motor control module and causes this problem.Remove the screws that hold the motor to the dash and see if motor is rusty if it is replace it.If no rust is there replace module.
The blower may simply have burned out. If the blower is out then the heater probably still works.
Disconnect the battery and let the vehicle sit for 20 minutes... Remove the right side panel insulator (passengers side)... Remove the (BCM) body control module and set aside carefully.. Disconnect the power plug to the blower motor.. Remove the screws holding the blower motor.. Remove the blower motor......
i broke down and paid to have this fixed. My mechanic said this is a fairly common problem on the older grand prixs. He had to replace the relay as well as the blower motor, total cost was $400.
Pull blower its up inside hole
The heater blower motor itself is located under the hood on the passenger side of the car.
o4 grand prix gt blower motor were is it located
Defective blower motor resistor pack.
If a 2000 Grand Am sometimes has the heater blower working and sometimes it won't, the problem could be with the heater relay switch. The heater relay switch lets the heater blower know when to come on and when to go off. In most vehicles this switch is behind the glove compartment. This part sometimes gets corroded from condensation in this area.
