The best way is to use the spark plug socket out of the factory tool kit. If you do not have that use a normal 5/8" socket to loosen the spark plug. Use the spark plug wire to snap back on after the plug is loose and pull it out.
The spark plug is at the very top of the engine, the spark plug wire is a real good indicator of its location.

On a 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660, the spark plugs are located on the top of the engine, beneath the fuel tank and seat. To access them, you typically need to remove the seat and the fuel tank cover. The spark plugs are found in the cylinder head, with one on each side of the engine. It's important to use a spark plug socket and extension for proper removal and installation.
