I think you are asking about a "Heater Core", for that you have to know the year, easiest way is to find a website or forum for the year of your auto and read the posts. If you don't have enough mechanical knowledge I would probably tell you to go to a technician, just to save you a lot of frustration.

change front coil spring on 2000 Pontiac grand am
ignition what? coil, swicth, module, lock cylinder? gm Jim
To replace the ignition coil in a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE with a 3.1 V6, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Remove any engine covers if necessary, then locate the ignition coil, which is typically mounted on the engine. Disconnect the electrical connectors and unbolt the coil from its mounting bracket. Replace the old coil with the new one, reattach the connectors, and reconnect the battery terminal before starting the engine to ensure proper function.
A malfunctioning coil pack can cause your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am to backfire. The more likely cause is a faulty fuel injector.
