Not too hard, on the passengers side of the engine you can see 6 spark plug wires going to the engine, under each one is a spark plug, remove one wire by pulling, then use a spark plug socket to unscrew the spark plug. Check the gap on the new one against specs, and install by putting it inside the socket and then aiming it down the hole where the old one came from, using only your hand gently start the threads, after several turns you will feel tension, you can then use the wrench to tighten. Place the wire back on the plug until you hear it click and move on to the next one, do this until all 6 have been replaced.

Remove the spark plug wires from your 2000 Chevy Impala spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs with a 5/8 deep well socket by turning the socket to the left. Reverse the process to install the new spark plugs.
