start with a cool engine, next remove the upper radiator hose where it connects to the engine it should be an easy thumb clamp, next take off the spout where the radiator hose connected. the thermostat is directly underneath. just put the new one in where the old one was and make sure you have a good/new gasket and the surface areas where the gasket goes are clean and smooth. reassemble and check for leaks. takes about 1 and a half hours with basic tools.
