Press the outside 2 buttons on the Homelink simultaneously until the begin to blink. Once they do, release the buttons. Now hold the button you wish to program, and simultaneously hold the button from your old garage remote until the light begins blinking rapidly (the Homelink and old remote should be within 1 foot). If you have a "rolling code" garage door opener, you must go and press the "learn" button on your garage door opener and within 30 seconds go and hold the Homelink button in your car until it goes from a slow blink to a fast blink.
