To add Freon to a 2000 Ford F-150, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically located on the larger diameter aluminum line between the compressor and the evaporator. Connect the refrigerant can with a hose to this port, then start the engine and turn on the AC to the maximum setting. Press the trigger on the can to add Freon until the system is adequately charged, monitoring the pressure gauge to avoid overcharging.

It is either on or near the recievr dryer in the right rear of the engine compartment. To corrrectly add freon, you need gauges and a refrigerant recovery system
Answering "Where do you add freon to your air conditioner in your ford ranger?"
There is one valve that is used to add refrigrant. But you had better not add Freon. Freon is R12 and your vehicle's A/C system does not have Freon (R12) as a refrigrant. More than likely it uses R134a.
To put freon in a 2000 F150 car, attach the A/C gauge set to the service ports. Add additional cans of refrigerant, as needed, to fill the system until the pressures are between 40 and 350 PSI.

How do you add freon to a 96 Ford Contour
Go to an autoparts store..perhaps Walmart would have it but... purchase a do it yourself pressure valve gauge to assist you. Just follow the directions on the can of freon it usually comes with and you can't go wrong. The gauge is interchangable with extra cans of freon if you need more than one can.
It contains no Freon. It contains R134a refrigerant and you add it to the low pressure port which is the larger pipe.
