Refrigerant System Charge
WARNING: REFER TO THE APPLICABLE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS FOR THIS SYSTEM BEFORE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING OPERATION.
After all refrigerant system leaks have been repaired and the refrigerant system has been evacuated, a refrigerant charge can be injected into the system. For the proper amount of the refrigerant charge, refer to the Underhood HVAC Specification Tag. An R-134a refrigerant recovery/recycling/charging station that meets SAE Standard J2210 must be used to charge the refrigerant system with R-134a refrigerant. See the operating instructions supplied by the equipment manufacturer for proper care and use of this equipment.

Man, don't listen to the previous user's answer, Pacifica's are still produced, I own a 08 Pacifica touring package with the 4.0 v6 and I actually saw a add for the 2019 model , Pacifica's remained crossover SUV's until around 2010 or 2011 I think.

Refrigerant is added through the low side service port. That is the smaller of the two fittings on the ac lines.
Do not add refrigerant. You must completely evacuate the system, then fill it _by_ _weight_ to prevent overcharging. Overcharging can cause leaks and/or compressor failure.
To add refrigerant to your 2004 Saturn Ion, locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line between the compressor and the evaporator. Remove the cap, attach the refrigerant can’s hose to the port, and then follow the instructions on the refrigerant can to add the refrigerant. Make sure the air conditioning system is running while you do this for accurate readings. Always check for leaks and ensure you’re using the correct type of refrigerant, usually R-134a for this model.
To add refrigerant to your AC unit, you will need to locate the service valve on the unit, connect a refrigerant charging hose to the valve, and slowly add the refrigerant following the manufacturer's instructions. It is important to be cautious and follow safety guidelines when handling refrigerant.
To add refrigerant to a Dodge Dakota find the suction hose of the A/C system. On the suction hose locate the port to add more refrigerant to the system.

Word of advice when your adding freon. To much freon can cause your system not to cool or work at all. Find a mechanic who can recycle your refrigerant, or one that has the correct hoses and guages to add some to your a/c. It can cost you a lot more if you mess up. hope this helps.
Many home AC units are sealed, and there is no way for a homeowner to add refrigerant.
