To adjust a side window on a 1965 SS Chevelle, start by removing the door panel to access the window regulator and tracks. Check the alignment of the window within the frame; it should fit snugly against the weatherstripping. You can adjust the window position by loosening the bolts on the window regulator or the window glass itself, then moving it up or down as needed. Finally, tighten the bolts once the desired position is achieved and reassemble the door panel.

Ensure everything is functioning properly before closing the door.
First off you have to remove the door panel and then you will see a few nuts...there is about 3 nuts (10mm) that hold the window slides in place. 1)loosen those bolts and you can tweak the window side to side... 2) loosen the nut on the rubber slide at the top of the slide that guides the window up and down... this will let you adjust how high the window goes up before it stops... just adjust it alittle at a time and check the window,,,Good Luck
Ok I got the window replace but how do you adjust it so that it runs up and down on the track properly? The front side of the window keeps falling off the track because the window rolls down crooked. Thanks
There are a couple of screws that will allow you to adjust the position of the window glass on the driver side. In order to get to them, you will have to remove the door panel and water shield. At that point the screws can be loosened and the window adjusted to move properly. There should be a link to the left or below this answer that has some pictures of where these screws are.
To adjust the driver's side window on a 2003 Nissan 350Z, begin by ensuring the vehicle is in the "On" position without starting the engine. Use the window switch located on the driver's door to raise or lower the window to your desired position. If the window needs recalibration due to a malfunction, you can reset it by holding the window switch down for a few seconds after it reaches the fully closed position, then pressing it up again. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions and troubleshooting tips.
