Because the hinges are welded in place, replacing the hinge pins and bushings should restore the door back to original position.
There is no adjustment to my knowledge.
To replace the hood hinges on a 1989 Dodge Van B250, first, ensure the hood is securely supported to prevent it from falling. Remove the bolts securing the old hinges to the hood and the body of the van using the appropriate socket or wrench. Once the old hinges are detached, align the new hinges with the mounting points and secure them with the bolts. Finally, check the hood's alignment and adjust if necessary before closing it.
OK, you have a 1989 S-10 Blazer. What is your question?
What about it?
Linkage is on the drivers side of trany (about under drivers seat area). May not be adjustable, but if it is then look there for a adjustment rod
CHECK THE HINGES. IF THEY ARE BENT YOU MAY NEED TO REPLACE THEM. THIS IS WHAT I HAD TO DO WITH MY T-BIRD AND THE DOOR SHUT BEAUTIFUL. GOOD LUCK!
No it will not even bolt up. GM redesigned the transmission and its not even close to being the same as the 1989 trans.
1982 - 1994 (early year models).
I believe that the first digital cluster on a S-10 Blazer was in 1989.
If you have no dash lights at all on your 1989 S10 Blazer, a blown bulb can be the problem. You should also check the fuse.
