deck panel adjust rear glass
The rear hatch can be replaced by another hatch from an 82 to 92 firebird or camaro.
The support pistons need to be replaced.
well you can change the entire rear hatch with that of a trans am's but I dont think it would be worth the the money to convert the car into a trans am style car.
To manually close the rear hatch of a 1990 Firebird when the motor isn't functioning, first, locate the manual release mechanism, which is usually accessible from inside the hatch area. If the hatch is slightly open, you can often push it down by hand, ensuring the latches align with the catch. If necessary, you may need to use a flat tool to help disengage the latch mechanism. Once aligned and closed, ensure the latch engages securely to prevent it from opening while driving.
You can't adjust it, you have to replace either the IAC ( idle air control ) sensor or the TPS ( throttle position sensor ) to fix a bad idle.
raise the hatch pull down on the carpet, determine which light is out and twist to come out, you dont replace from the outside of the car!!!
It is next to the headlight there are three bolts that hold it on.The knob that you can turn to adjust your headlights it is rigth there.

Rear hatch leaking on 3rd gen Camaro,Z28-IRoc-z/Trans Am/Firebird-GTA The seal between the window and the hatch is worn. Any glass shop will reseal this.to do yourself buy a glass sealer or tar. remove inner hatch cover, there are I believe 4 bolts holding the window to the hatch. remove them. Have a large 4by4 holding up the hatch. Remove the hatch struts. Clean off old sealer under window an hatch. Reseal the hatch/window. Put the struts back and retighten all the bolts snug not too tight. I have had the same problem. This will fix ur water leak problem..
