Throtle position sensors generally have very little adjustment, however, there is a setpoint were you would set a sensor.Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector. Look at the plug with the lock to the right. The top pin is A the middle is B and the bottom is C Make sure that resistance between terminals b and c changes when opening throttle valve manually. Loosen, but do not remove screws. Adjust TPS B & C to 1000 ohms with throttle closed. Tighten screws

How do you adjust a Mazda RX-7 throttle position sensor?

To adjust the throttle position sensor (TPS) on a Mazda RX-7, first ensure the ignition is off. Disconnect the TPS connector and remove the sensor from the throttle body. Using a multimeter, check the resistance across the sensor terminals and adjust the sensor's position until you achieve the specified voltage or resistance values as per the service manual. Once adjusted, reassemble the sensor, reconnect the electrical connector, and verify the throttle response.
