the easiest way is to go get a hanes chiltons book on your camaro it has step by step in it on this. i got this from my chiltons book on a 1993-1995 3.4l camaro. rotate your crank until the mark on the harmonic balancer is at noon watch as it approaches and see if any puchrods are moving. if they are you are approaching firing position for number 4 cylinder. if this happens rotate the crank another full rotation. if they do not move as you approach the "noon" position you are ready to go. from this position you can adjustexhaust valves 1,2,and 3 and intake valves 1,5,and 6. unscrew the nut on the rocker arm until movemment can be felt in the pushrod. start tightening until no more pushrod lash is felt. (when you can no longer omve the pushrod up and down by hand tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 1/2 turns. now rotate crank another rotation. you can now adjust exhaust valves 4,5, and 6 and intake valves 2,3, and 4. repeat above steps.
