Loosen the distributor and rotate it.
Don't know .
That year did not have a EST/ electronic spark timing connector. The timing is controlled by the PCM / Powertrain Controll Module. It requires a engine scanner to ajust the timing. You can not use a timing light.
it is probably hydrological. not adjustable
how do I ajust the emergency brake on a 2005 Nissan maxima
To adjust the timing on a 2002 Chevy Prizm, you need to locate the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft. Use a timing light to check the current timing by aiming it at the timing marks while the engine is running. If adjustments are necessary, you can loosen the distributor hold-down bolt and rotate the distributor slightly to advance or retard the timing, then retighten the bolt. Always ensure the engine is at the correct RPM and check timing specifications in the service manual for precise settings.
4-BTDC and the firing order is the same as any SBC. My shop manual and the emmisions sticker on my 1975 K10 says timing should be 4-BTDC. I have mine set at 14BTDC and it runs great. I have a mild cam and an MSD box though...
