It is a very simple procedure on the front cylindars, and a bit of a challenge on the back four. First you need to disconnect the two wire connector on the coil you are replacing. Then you'll need a 7/32 socket to remove the coil hold- down screw. After that it just pulls straight up along with the plug boot and internal spring.

I had a similar problem. It was a coil pack. They are about 80 bucks. Fairly easy to fix. If you know how to change a Spark Plug, you should be able to change a coil pack.

I don't think that engine has a coil "pack." I believe it has 8 individual coils. One for each cylinder. They are called "coil over plugs." Each individual coil is located directly over each spark plug. ok Johnson number 8 is very back cylon driver side
