It is a very simple procedure on the front cylindars, and a bit of a challenge on the back four. First you need to disconnect the two wire connector on the coil you are replacing. Then you'll need a 7/32 socket to remove the coil hold- down screw. After that it just pulls straight up along with the plug boot and internal spring.

Where is the 8 coil pack for a ford 5.4 Triton?

I don't think that engine has a coil "pack." I believe it has 8 individual coils. One for each cylinder. They are called "coil over plugs." Each individual coil is located directly over each spark plug. ok Johnson number 8 is very back cylon driver side

How do you change ford coil pack?

To change a Ford coil pack, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, then remove the ignition coil by unscrewing any bolts and carefully pulling it out from the spark plug. Replace it with the new coil pack, ensuring it fits snugly, and reconnect any wiring. Finally, reattach the negative battery terminal and start the engine to ensure proper function.
