i just changed fuel filter under truck frame on silverado truck 2001. It is on drivers side behind drivers seat on inside the frame. Silver canster about 8 inches long inline to gas line to gas tank. Need a couple good fitting wrenches to break loose both ends. I replaced for $ 8.00. i disconnected battery on vehicle to let pressure drain out of gas line first. Unfortunately for me it did not fix my turck and i will need a new fuel pump in gas tank.
