The fuel pressure control on a 2003 Chevy Avalanche is part of the fuel pump module assembly located inside the fuel tank. It is not a separate component that can be easily accessed or replaced on its own. If there are fuel pressure issues, it may be necessary to replace the entire fuel pump module.
Change the fuel filter first. If that doesn't help, change the fuel pump.
The fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank. It is part of the fuel pump assembly and is not a serviceable item.
I paid a little over 900 & for the pump, fuel filter, 2 fuel lines, oil change, plus labor. The pump was 350, the shop made lines for abought 40/50 $ cheaper and several days shotter than if they ordered the lines. Parts 460 labor 480. I feel as if i have been had does any one else feel the same way? 2003 chevy avalanche
