the knock sensor is a 1.5" round disk with a single wire connected to it. It is located on the bottom driver's side of the engine. Unscrew it from the block and be prepared with a large open-top drain pan to catch all the antifreeze from the block. Use Teflon pipe tape on the new sensor to seal the threads.
