How do you change a rear turn signal on a 2008 ford escape?

I just finished replacing the driver side and the instructions are in the owners manual.

Purchase replacement bulbs 4157.

With the vehicle off open the lift gate and remove the two screws located at the right or left (depending on the side you are replacing) of the lamp assembly.

Gently pull the assembly straight out from the vehicle. If you do not pull it straight out you risk breaking some plastic pieces that would result in replacing the whole assembly so go slow and be patient.

The tail/stop/turn signal light is the one on top. Rotate the socket counterclockwise and pull straight out.

Pull the bulb straight out of the socket and put in the replacement.

Put the socket back in the assembly and rotate clockwise.

At this point start the vehicle and turn on the turn signal to make sure it works.

If it works turn off the vehicle and replace the assembly by pushing it straight back on and replacing the screws.
