When engine is cool- Remove the air intake filter assembly and air hoses to expose the Thermostat housing on the engine. Make sure you mark or paint where any removed hose goes back on the engine or air filter assembly. The thermo is in the engine, under the water connection housing.The top radiator hose is connected to that housing. Remove two -three small bolts on housing. Replace thermo and gasket. reinstall bolts and check out water supply for leaks. If none -reinstall all things removed to access thermo and test all operations.
