If you look to the right front side of the motor you will see where the upper radiator hose connects to the water pump housing directly where this hose attaches there is a thermostat housing that is held by two bolts remove the hose first then remove the two bolts that are in the thermostat housing take out the old thermostat replace with new but you may want to bleed all the air out of the system first these cars are bad about developing air pockets in the system and causing the auto to overheat the way i remove the air is by removing the same hose and filling with fluid directly into the system through this hose but keep an eye on the overflow tank as well it would be better to have some one watch the over flow to make sure it does not run dry while you add fluid
