Be careful when disconnecting the fuel lines because they may be full of fuel and under pressure. OEM connections are plastic and you need to be careful not to break them. If you are not sure how to disconnect them, consult a qualified mechanic.

It is best to have the van on a vehicle lift so you can access the bolts holding the tan up easier.

it is also a very good idea to have a couple of stands to hold the tank from falling once you loosen the tank bolts.

the access for the fuel pump assembly is the big round disk in the middle of the tank toward the center of the van.

There is a huge plastic ring that screws down holding the assembly.

It is best to do this when the tank is nearly empty. You might be able to tilt the tank enough without fully removing the bolts on the tank retaining straps to remove the assembly. Otherwise you will need to lower the whole tank down enough to remove the assembly, in which case you need to make sure the tank is properly supported from falling or tilting.

Slowly lower the tank so you do not damage the fuel lines or wiring harness.
