On my 95 I had to pull the fuel tank out. Once you have it on the floor it is pretty easy to see what the next steps are. Some cars have an access hole in the trunk under the matt. Look there first. If no access from trunk, drop the tank. There will be a spanner type sheet metal nut that holds it in. Be careful taking it out as the fuel gage sending unit is part of the pump. be sure to clean the outside area well so that it wont leak when you fill up.Dont forget the rubber gasket. I got one from autozone and its been working fine for 80000 miles.
