You have to drop the fuel tank, and the fuel pump is mounted in the top of the tank. Disconnect the wireing harness, and the fuel lines. Turn the ring around the fuel pump assembly with a hammer and screwdriver, and the assembly comes right out. Then you can remove the pump from the assembly and replace it.
It is part of the fuel pump module in the fuel tank.
Drop the fuel tank
It doesn't have one. That's a Ford thing.
tryin to change the starter on my 1998 dodge ram 2500 truck. How many bolts are there....not much room to see anything.......thx
dodge is known for fuel pick up issues. the fuel sender unit has low voltage. change that and fuel filter. nnot an easy fix . because both are in fuel tank.
It only has one fuel pick up. It is in the fuel tank.
The fuel filter on a 2004 Dodge 1500 is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
No, the 1998 Chevrolet pick-up does not have a low fuel light on it. You need to keep your eye on the fuel gauge so you do not run out of gas.
there is no fuel filter, part of pick-up in fuel pump
Dodge does not have inertia/shut off switches.

Diesel, on side of the engine. Gas, inside the fuel tank.
