To remove the high-level brake light unit on a 2009 Skoda Fabia estate, start by opening the tailgate. Carefully pry off the plastic cover surrounding the brake light unit using a flat tool to avoid damaging the clips. Once exposed, disconnect the wiring harness and remove the screws or clips securing the brake light unit in place. Finally, gently pull the unit out to complete the removal.

The reverse light switch on a Skoda Fabia is typically located on the transmission, near the gearbox. It may be mounted directly on the side of the transmission case or on the selector mechanism. To access it, you may need to raise the vehicle or remove certain components for better visibility. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions and diagrams.
